A working farm dedicated to organic methods for apples, pears, plums, maple syrup and honey. The fieldstone farm home was built in 1875 by the great, great grandfather of the present owner. A quiet walk leads to a spring fed pond with fish and swimming facilities. Natural plants and wildlife abound. A little further along, the path leads to a hardwood managed forest with A-frame cottage, maple syrup operation and apiary. In winter there is a groomed trail for cross country skiing right outside the back door. Deer, rabbit and a large variety of birds enjoy this natural habitat. The breakfast is entirely homemade fare. Organic cider, bread, muffins, jam, local additive free bacon and eggs.
