This medieval fortress is in the heart of the charming village of Ribiers in Haute Provence - an area chosen for having the purest air in Europe. Arrive by train from London to Aix-en-Provence. We offer four double rooms, all ensuite. Ingredients for all meals are almost entirely organically sourced and locally produced. Dinner is available Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays. We use handmade organic soap and recycled bin bags and paper products. With guests' co-operation we save on laundry and lighting and all rubbish is recycled. We are currently saving to finance the installation of solar power for the whole property. We are in fantastic walking and cycling country, with swimming in nearby natural gorges and rock pools
