Taleton Traditional Inn is built entirely of local stone and wood. It nestles in Xirokambi village in the foothills of Mount Taygetos, an area of untold natural beauty just ten minutes drive from the city of Sparta. Enjoy a well-provisioned breakfast buffet in the breakfast room. A wealth of well guarded secrets goes into the gastronomic treats taken exclusively from the Taleton cookery book of traditional recipes. The ingredients the chef uses are, for the most part, our own local produce, and they are all organically grown. Winter and summer, ventilation, heating and cooling are effected through a bio-climatic system. The garden is irrigated using rainwater and collected in an underground cistern.
