A pretty self-catering cottage in the village of Kapitanovsi just six minutes drive from the historical town of Vidin and the river Danube. The cottage has a large terrace area with views of the garden and surrounding countryside and mountains. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available from the garden for consumption, including strawberries, apples, cherries, peaches, herbs and spices. At the front of the garden are fresh flower beds. The town of Vidin has a large market where organic meat, fish, herbs, spices and handmade goods can be bought. The newly opened bridge to cross over into Romania, which can also be accessed by nearby ferry boat, is ten minutes drive from the cottage.
